I sat in one of these at DWR the other day, it felt so good. It will totally fit in my apartment with all the MCM furniture that I've collected from Craigslist.

Oblivious to the value of this chair, my friend asked the DWR salesperson how much it was before I could whisper to her not to ask because we cannot afford it. The salesperson said, "with or without the ottoman?" I was so embarrassed. She later tried to sell us the cheapest item in the show floor, which was a portable light for $150.

My husband is in love with Eames furniture. We saw a really cool exhibit at the LA County Museum of Art about a year ago that displayed furniture design from CA from the 1930-1960s.
