A great furniture design home-makeover contest by Gilt! I'd love to see the winner here in our furniture store in Chicago.
Boo. Facebook sucks. I don't have a profile and refuse to get one. Can't enter.
No facebooking for me, either.
Well that sucks for those of us who don't "Facebook". I don't want to put myself out there online just to win a contest.
No facebook for me, either. :(
By all appearances and lack of responses by GILT on their facebook page, it appears the contest was either not a legitimate contest, or, the company changed their minds about choosing winners and posting the results.
GILT bombards your "home" page on facebook (the 1st pg you see when you log into your account) to advertise their goods and products (a precursor to being able to vote or submit entry at all). GILT also gained a heck of a lot of exposure through this call for entrants.
If Apartment Therapy would investigate and post for all their readers (a # of whom actually entered the contest AND/OR voted for other entrants) what GILT reports back, I suspect a lot of people would appreciate it. Including all of the people who took time out of their day, each day in a lot of cases, to vote. Did the families with the homes in devastated areas of the country win?? Did the single woman in the penthouse win?? Did anyone win? There is so much of this going on on the internet these days, I hope I am wrong about GILT.
Thank you in advance, Apartment Therapy.
