Usually step ladders are just dreary objects intruding on home decor. Karl Malmvall's Step is another matter. Functional yet decorative, a standalone interior object in high gloss color.

Commercial Flour Sa...
meow. red is my favorite.
would also be perfect for me as i get ready to make a big move to live on my own. at 5'1'' - hanging curtains, photos, and basic pantry stuff is out of reach - LITERALLY. haha.
i could use it as a display shelf !!
oh man-- it would be great to reach high-up places with so much style!
This is gorgeous... and would hang so perfectly in my kitchen. Love love love.
I use my stepladder everyday but this one is much prettier.
I love how modern & streamlined this is.
I have been meaning to buy one and this would save me some money!
As a height-impaired person, step ladders are a way of life. But I've never used one as pretty as this. It looks like it would fold to a nice thin size, and so easy to store. Awesome.
The fairest step ladder of them all.
i am six feet tall, but i can always use another step up!
I hope Target does a cheaper version. It's gorgeous but I just am not ready to pay that much for a step ladder.
yeah, this would be wonderful since my wife and i are 5'2" on a good day...
Wow, now that is neat! I love the jazzy color!
love that red!
I'd use this as a display shelf as well as a step ladder! We need one so bad! How adorable!
Now this is a great and fresh idea for small spaces with high storage - a step ladder that is pretty enough to leave out and handy!
This I love!
Ooh, I'm 5'0"--I need a red step ladder to match my red dryer; which I need a ladder to get clothes out of since it's stacked and too high!
perfect..!
Almost too pretty to use-I would hang it on the wall and worship it.
Need this.
So cool looking! I've been on the hunt for a step ladder, and I can never find one that meets at the crossroads between -actually- being useful, and not looking like an eyesore...hope I get this!
BEST LOOKING LADDER OF ALL TIME!
very nice - definitely a "step beyond" the foot stool I've been using.
As is short person, this is both stylish and useful.
stepping up in style
Perfect little ladder!
Nanobelle has it correct. This is one of those things that I dont need or want but when I see it done like this all of the sudden I cant live without it. Nicely done.
It's just what I've always wanted!
A handy item to have!
Sleek and lovely. I like that it is made of wood - one less metal object to vibrate city noise...
Very pretty ladder...
I could so use this!
so beautiful, I might call it art and leave it in the middle of my living room
I used to get a chair from the dining table and stand on the edges (since it is a natural reed seat) and climb up on the counter. The last time I did this, I went to jump off my and foot caught on the dishwasher handle...landed on my kness and chin on my hardwood floor. Knees hurt for about 8 weeks...the huge bruise on my chin went away after about 2. I have not tried to get anything out of reach since. This ladder would be the smarter way. Just sayin...
exquisite!
A must-have item for us short folks!
I need this in my life !
Love this, need this, deserve this!
A nice pop of color/style to my drab kitchen... would replace the sad looking one I now have.
I would use this in a dance piece.
So pretty and red...would look great in my white and red living room.
Oooh, GREAT IDEA!! Thanks, even if I don't win this, you just gave me a GREAT idea! Thanks so much! Brilliant!
LOL - cute comment! Happy Holidays!
HAHAHA - good one!
Oweee! I hope you're okay!! Ah, what a way to learn! Happy Holidays!
Oddly, this is the thing I want most from the holiday giveaway--my husband has the ugliest stepladder and we don't have anywhere to store it, so it is always visible--I hate it! I've been trying to get rid of it for years but could never find anything actually stylish, so what was the point in replacing ugly with ugly? I would kill for something this attractive.
This. is. awesome.
I love the fact that this ladder can be hung on the wall. It really is beautifully designed.
