Have seen these in action. Soft glow, safe, ever-ready. If you have animals, as I do, these give quite a bit of peace of mind. Wagging tails and curious noses can knock over candles to disastrous result. I love candles, but for some purposes, these Candela lights are THE solution.

these would work so great in the bedroom when you want to fall asleep to candle light but are afraid you might burn the house down...

My mom, sister and myself were trapped in one room in our apartment and I watched in horror as my mom's nightgown went up in flames and she had to rip it off. And to make matters even worse, my sister and I were thrown out the window to save our lives. Luckily, none of us were physically hurt, but I am so paranoid of fire now. I even check the stove when I leave the house, even when I haven't cooked a thing all day! However, I love candle/ambient lighting. It is the only thing I can use during my all too often migraines. Besides that, my kitty sometimes forgets she has one of the longest, fluffiest (beautiful) tails you have ever seen.
This would be more than a Xmas gift for me...it would be a blessing!

I've been lusting after a set of the candela lights since taking a business trip to Miami about 2 years ago and having my hotel room stocked full of them. As soon as the lights went out it was instant ambiance and time to relax. I think they are stunning and modern and I need them in my life!

Oh, and frgi, so jealous. I found some at TJ Maxx this past summer, but they were all childrens ones in odd shapes and colors, too bold for my tastes. I can't believe you got such a good deal on these.
