Have wanted one of these so long but have not been able to justify the $$$, great giveaway!
If you're concerned about the cost of the unit, do the math - I bought one of these for my brother (a seltzer fiend) and he's litterally paying pennies on the dollar for his fix. And if you're a soda drinker, it gives you the option to make your own elixirs.
The other great thing about these units is the waste reduction; you're not buying plastic bottles and the CO2 cartridges are exchanged and refilled, there is 0 waste when making plain seltzer. Double Bonus.
If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

I have always wanted one of these! After eating at a place that made their own flavored sodas, like pineapple ginger, I thought it would be nice to do that at home with natural sweeteners!
My husband drinks a case or two of sparkling water a week. This would eliminate a ton of re-cycling!!!

I got a Sodastream last year for Christmas (thanks, Dad!) and it's my favorite kitchen item next to the Vitamix. I always have a few chilled water bottles in the fridge so I can easily make lemon-lime flavored soda, quick, real-sugar cola, or my favorite, plain soda water!
I need this in my life. I've already started dreaming up crazy soda concoctions to make with it!!!

I want this SO much. We drink a ton of seltzer, and with a new baby and my wife breastfeeding, a) we go through even more seltzer, as my wife is always thirsty, and b) I'm the one who always has to drive to the store to buy more.
My wife won't let me buy one of these because they are made in the Occupied Territories, but if I WON one she couldn't turn it down. Oh, I want this so much.
Fresh ginger, lemon, a bit of agave and this=heaven.
This would get a lot of use in my house!
