it is beautiful, but really? the AAP (american academy of pediatrics) strongly warns against the use of any bumper pads in cribs. i don't think this is a very wise giveaway. sorry to be the grinch here.
I see this on our toddler's bed. Enough pink to make her happy, enough gray to appease the non-girly big sister she shares a room with :)
@emily This is Andy from Olli & Lime. I understand your concerns, but we leave the choice to parents, particularly as bodies such as the JPMA have questioned the AAP recommendations. And though our UK-made bumpers contain breathable hollow fiber, we appreciate some parents still won't use them, so we also offer a three-piece alternative, minus the bumper.
What is the crib these are on?
I love this color, I am not so into the bright pinks and baby blues, Pink and Gray love it.
I have a new grandbaby coming in May. This would be so nice :)
i searched for 9+ months for this bedding and it did not exist until now! its so lovely. my little guinevere is due to come out...any day she chooses now. would go so good with her gray lavender / pink / white nursery. its origami themed. love it!
I agree with you completely, emily kiana. I think that it would be awesome if design sites stopped featuring and promoting products that, pretty or not, are unsafe for children. Last month, I contacted Ohdeedoh with my concerns and received this response from Carrie at Apartment Therapy, "Even though the hazards of crib bumpers have been known for many years I think it will take both the general public and bedding companies a while, unfortunately, to fully get on board with the AAP's recommendation." I love this website and know that it could help get the general public and bedding companies "on board" by only featuring and promoting designs and products that fit within AAP recommendations.
