I have been composting for years. I love to garden and composting can sometimes take longer than the weeding and deadheading. But, oh the lovely reward. I do tend to be a more relaxed gardener and get some help deadheading from the birds and other animals. In my kitchen I have multiple small garbage bins on the counter waiting for the kitchen scrapes. Then I line them up outside the back door and when I head to the vegetable garden I take the bins and empty them into a larger bin in the garden or I dig holes and pit compost (love it…). I am fascinated with composting and options for composting. As money is tight I would love to win this! From the garden to the kitchen and back again…

I would love to have this. Every attempt I've made at composting ended up in the trash because it was either misconstrued as garbage or it didn't compost fast enough.
yeah, the city of Portland recently went to bi-weekly trash service (for the same price, truly garbage). this is needed to cut down on the amount of trash festering in my garage.
