My parents are in need of a new washer and dryer. What a wonderful surprise this would be, showing up for Christmas (or around that time). These all seem to be such lovely holiday gifts. This would be a dream. My washer has suddenly started squealing like a 12 year old at a Justin Bieber concert this last week. :( (Ironically, only during the appropriately named "agitation cycle") I'm hoping my washer's squeal will be the same as the 12-year old's...and be merely a passing phase.

look how often i comment. just look. i've been in a tight place behind our dryer for the last week trying to replace a defective part. this would be a "christmas ******* miracle" if i got these.

I have never owned my own washer and dryer, and I can't tell you how often my clothes pile up because I simply don't have time to go to the laundromat--if I could do laundry at home, in the evenings, it would be a HUGE game changer!

our washer and dryer are the same brands i had as a child in the 80s. they made them to last back then, i guess... but the washer uses a ton of water and the dryer has a bunch of rusty spots on top. these would be a fantastic improvement!

This would be a great christmas present to myself.

All my appliances were lost due to Hurricane Sandy. My family has been displaced since 29 October but we are getting ready to move back into the upstairs of our Cape Cod (2 bedrooms/full bath and now a tiny refrigerator, microwave, and hot plate) while the downstairs kitchen, bathroom, laundry, living area, and bedrooms are being reconstructed. When the sheet rocking is complete I was hoping to get a washer and maybe hang the clothes in the living room and pretend I'm Abigail Adams in the East Room of the White House circa 1799. But man oh man, it would be nice to deal with my current reality with this gleaming set of beauties!

Our washer and dryer are so old. It takes almost 2 hours to dry clothes. It would be a blessing to win these by having beauiful appliances as well as saving on our electric and water bill.

This would be a wonderful gift for our new home. We will definitely get use out of it and love the fact that it is eco efficient.

My parents have been using a washer that is barely functional for over a year and the dryer isn't much better. It gets going and then when it goes into spin - you have to stick your arms into it and swivel it repeatedly and as fast as you can until it decides that it wants to keep the spin going on it's own. My dad is older so this is frustrating and terrible! I wanted to gift them a new washer for Christmas but can't afford to and this would be incredible luck! *Fingers crossed*

I have a feeling our neighbors won't like it when they find out we're washing our son's cloth diapers in the coin-op machine..

Since the move, our washer only washes our clothes on one temp setting: scalding hot. Our dryer doesn't dry our clothes at all. Just spins and spins. So we hang our clothes outside on the line...or if I need the clothes by tomorrow and it's late at night: put them in front of a heater. This would be such a dream to win! Then we wouldn't have to plan our laundry on the whims of the weather. Yes! Success!

My family's style is eclectic. But, cleanliness is something we all agree on. This set would truly help bring us together in a way that only a washer and dryer can :D

We would be most grateful for these new appliances. Our current set has issues. The inside of our dryer is cracked. Our washer lid and rim are rusted. We have used appliance rust paint but it doesn't work. After a few months, we have to sand and paint it again to stop the rust from ruining our clothes.
