This weekend I decided to take an alternate route home from the grocery store, and I was happy to come across this festive row home. For probably less than $5 this house has taken the party to the street.
My family still makes a big deal about birthdays, and I'm a firm believer that everyone deserves to have a fuss made over him or her that day. I like to imagine how excited that birthday boy or girl was to come home to those balloons, and I like that I got to share a little bit of that good feeling.

So fun! Thanks for sharing, this is a great idea :) What a great way to spread cheer to your entire block!
awesome! love it!
That is adorable! Love this idea!
When we were dating and I couldn't afford much for a birthday surprise for my husband, I bought a few packs of red balloons and a dozen or so inflated ones at the store. I think it cost me 10 bucks. I blew up balloons all day and when he came home our apartment looked filled top to bottom with red balloons. It was cheap and super memorable. He got a kick out of it (our dog did even moreso!)
great idea for when you are having a kids party @ home! guests will definitely know which house the party is at - i've arrived at a few home parties wondering if i'm knocking on the right door.
What fun!
