We just saw this photo on the editor's blog for the Australian magazine, Real Living, and it has us drooling. If we had such a cozy place (daybed? windowseat?) to curl up -- or stretch out -- and read, would we even need a bed?

Suddenly I feel blessed to have almost the exact same room as my living room in my apartment... I wonder if a 'daybed' like so would be a suitable solution to my current couch (or rather lack of one) dilemma.

I love the Cappellini chair... too bad I can't afford it. God, I can't wait to finish school so I can finally make some money (not that school loans won't keep me from spending any of the money I make on something I actually want).
kariefury- daybeds are totally acceptable just decide what vibe you want to set with: couch, lounge or bed.

I saw a similar version of that rug on sale at Urban Outfitters for $29. Unfortunately, it isn't on their website; nor is it an authentic Moroccan rug. It's a knock-off manufactured in India, but it's a pretty good version of it--especially for the price.
The rug looks a lot like a bedspread/wallhanging in the new VivaTerra catalogue.

Look around. Those Moroccan wedding quilt/rugs are available in import places. Real ones can be pricey. The UO knockoff was very low rent. No better than any of their other rugs. There are matching pillows in two sizes. They'd do if you just want the vibe for the short term.
