Wind–up Eco Twinkle Light

The Eco Twinkle Light concept designed by Kenan Wang takes the mechanism of the old fashioned classroom pencil sharpener and connects it to a rechargeable battery and LED light to create a portable and eco-friendly lighting solution for indoors and outdoors.

Considering the system uses an LED light, we think a few minutes of cranking should power a small bulb for tens of minutes, if not longer. We're sure to see emergency lighting with similar features, but we also hope to see decorative outdoor table setting lighting with eye pleasing designs like Kenan Wang's Eco Twinkle Light in the future (hopefully with a better name).
