My aesthetic is more Door 16 than Young House Love, but I am happy for the winners. They have a great blog, and I really like how they emphasize thriftiness and non-toxic living.

I honestly forget how I came across Young House Love (it might have been Yellow Brick Home? Or Apartment Therapy? Maybe?) but once I found their blog I kept going back for more and I'm so happy they won. I still haven't been through all the archives, though, so though I recognize elements, I haven't seen all these projects. Thanks for sharing the love. :)

I follow YHL daily. It is one of the most humorous blogs. I find they make really bold design choices especially in their new home. I think they are planning on using the dark inky colour from photo 3 on their island. I will definitely be interested to see that.
I love YHL mainly because they're in my hometown of Richmond! An amazing city that's often overlooked :)
