mmmmm!! We have a set of artificial alpine trees (used originally in our Christmas wedding) that get scattered around the house. This year, the two big ones got a treatment of all white & silvery or glass ornaments- I love the effect!! It's like a much more elegant flocking- has a snow appeal at first glance! I wish the picture showed it better...

rosebud!
My mom uses a sled for a coffee table. She has an antique sled with a glass topper. On a kilim rug...not nearly as whimsical but still fun.
