This is the first year as an adult that I've decided to go with an artificial tree. While choosing, I saw green, purple and champagne trees but no white. I was rather surprised because white can be so chic and absolutely wintry.
You can go big or small, thick or thin — no matter what, white Christmas trees are serious statement pieces. Whether you look at them as retro or modern, they will brighten up the room and your holiday spirits.

For as much as I love color, I'm really digging some of these white trees. Might be a little classier than my pink one....
Ghost trees, as if they're trying to fill in for the real thing. Sorry, I'm just one of those old fashioned traditionalists, I guess.
veslabeachgirl - agreed. I will never have a non-green tree. And I prefer real, I will deal with the mess of needles and whatnot because there is nothing like the smell of a real Christmas tree. Mine is just waiting to be decorated tonight.
Blasphemy!
I love 8 & 9 -- the vibrant colorful ornaments!
My rule for trees is that if you want a traditional green tree, real is the only way to go. I would never dream of bringing an artificial tropical plant into my home. Why would I make an exception for a Christmas tree? If you want a fake tree, it should look fake. These white trees are beautiful.
Trees #s 2, 3, 5 and 7....very beautiful! White trees are still traditional, with a twist.
I bought my first white tree this year, and LOVE it! I think ornaments pop so much better against the white, but again it goes to your taste preference and home decor. http://instagr.am/p/WEnWr/
I grew up always having an artificial tree, so that doesn't bother me. I actually think that cutting down an entire tree just to decorate it for a few weeks is pretty wasteful. I know others won't agree, but if my artificial last me 10 years then I'll take that over real. Save the trees for the forest.
My thought is that a white Christmas tree is OK for someone else, but not for me. Still, some of these are very photogenic, but in that department-store-display kind of way.
Love my white tree!!! This is the second year I've had mine and it absolutely makes my Christmas! My house is dark, especially in winter. The white tree brings light and warmth into the room.
I bought my first white tree this year for $40 at Wal-Mart and it looks awesome in my living room. I would much rather have an artificial tree than a real one that is just going to end up in the garbage in a month.
I liked the first batch of 10 white trees better, but the star on #8 here is fabulous!
I'm more and more drawn to white trees, suddenly, this year. Especially with blue and teal ornaments. Doubt my partner will ever agree, though...
