Nothing worse than a mess of wires dangling behind a glass desk. Sure, the super-techie way of doing things would have you install wiring and appropriate jacks in the wall, but the wire loom solution is perfect for renters or anybody else who likes to move their desks around.
Using a stretch of $2/foot wire loom and our favorite power-strip hiding Bluelounge CableBox, a Lifehacker reader made his messy desk into a shiny glass oasis.
The surge protector (and all the bulky adapters) go into the CableBox, while cords run from the desktop to wall outlets get tucked into the wire loom. It couldn't be easier!
But his cord management isn't the only thing to admire. We love the teeny secondary Mimo Monitor that's running Tweetie.

Now the wire loom also comes in a few varieties which one is best to use is dependent on the level of ambition that involves your wire routing tasks. The amount of wires you have will require a different sturdiness of wire looms than the next so always keep that in mind what you need for the home will not always be the same for the office
