2 and a half days. That's all it took to install the Ray Kappe designed 4 million dollar prefab homage to green living. Not bad, we say. It's sure to make the neighbor's jealous (and inspire them to go green?).

A "green" home at 4,000 sq ft?? That defies logic to me.
It's a green home in the sense that it took a lot of green to bankroll it.
hejiranyc's point is a good one. Unless a family of 10 to 12 lives in the home, it's not sounding all that green.
See, there's the dilemma.
Do you assume there will always be people who insist that they must have 4,000 sf, so let's give it to 'em in a more environmentally friendly way?
Or do you assume that the celebrities out promoting "green" will decide to make do with a smaller space, which is a lot less energy intensive even without "green" enhancements?
I dunno.
