We've been moving things around the studio apartment, and even though our place is pretty small (639 sq.ft. studio), we seem to make up for it in the amount of wires and cables strewn throughout the place. We've mostly been able to hide all the wires by following the lines of the wall, attentively placing wires behind furniture, controlled with cable ties and guides. But we might need to look into this product line of wire hiding covers from Wiremold by LeGrand, because we've run into a new problem with a home theater setup...

We're readying our living for a ceiling mounted HD DLP projector and we're worrying about how to hide/guide the wires down from the ceiling. Unlike home owners, our rental means drilling holes through the ceiling and walls to snake wires through is an advisable no-no. The Installing a Ceiling Fan how-to might our best bet, but there are plenty of other examples of how their line can help hide the eyesore of cables and wires. We especially like that these CornerMate Cord Organizers can be painted, which will let us blend them in a bit once everything is installed. The video makes it seem easy enough. We'll find out soon enough [to be continued].
