The Chicken or the Egg: Do You Have an Urban Coop?
"Everyone always talks about urban chickens, but ducks are (I think) much friendlier and lay delicious eggs. In fact, most of my ducks lay 300 eggs/year, which is way more than most chickens lay."
Seven more after the jump, including:
- "There's chalkboard fabric, too. It works really well."
- "Even the concrete in cities comes from and is part of nature."
- "Our bath is not small... just set up horribly so there is little to NO storage."
"My bathroom tiles look exactly like that, except with disgusting black mold staining every crevice. My landlord doesn't see this as a problem."
"Being born and raised in NYC, I needed a little more green but not a lot more commute."
"Chalkboard fabric would be my choice.... I get lots of requests for wall hangings from adults now, and I...add two grommets in the upper corners. Then you can use a 3M hook, or small nails, to hang."
"My husband and I just drove by this yesterday and he (who never notices architecture) commented on how hideous it was."
"Being a lady, I shave in the shower. One of the things I do is turn off the water while I shave my legs. If I'm a real good girl, I'll turn off the water while I lather up."
"I manage 100 apartment units and our policy is to replace any toilet that needs repairs with a new low flow model."
"Our [one] bathroom is beautiful, but it doesn't do much for me when I need to use it and our seven year old is in residence on the toilet."
"The thing I fear the most is the awful smell of latex/rubber."
