Sounds like a ride at Coney Island. We spied this crazy (in the best way) toy among Wondertime Magazine Editors' Must-Haves for fall list (see the full list here). It's like the home version of that game at the mall where you watch your penny circle round and round until it falls in a hole forever out of your grasp. Except this is much cooler. The maze includes six dynamic pieces which are connected by ramps and tunnels and, ultimately, a catch box. It also comes with six small balls and is recommended for children above the age of 6 (but anyone can watch). According to the seller, WonderMaze "introduces children to the principles of physics through altering angles and watching rotational changes. As they experiment with gravitational pull, young learners simultaneously improve fine-motor skills and eye-hand coordination." We were just going to say it's fun, but we suppose it's educational, too. Best of all, it's magnetic and can be stuck to your fridge. The Wondermaze sells for $45 at Museum Tour.
