Wood-chips and Printers: Our Cord Solution

Wood-chips and Printers: Our Cord Solution

Sarah's post from yesterday made us want to show one of our work around cord solutions we employed at our rental apartment. Being a rental with a built in desk our options to pimp our workplace was obviously limited. One place we would not compromise was our printer, it had to be hidden. Read below the jump for details...

When we moved into our apartment we decided mission one for our desk was to hide the wires and the ugly printer. The only solution we could figure out was to shove it in the cabinet along with the power strip. While the plug is still outside the cabinet, only one wire is visible and the cluttered mess of cables is now hidden in our cabinet.

The final result of our cord hiding madness!

We had to cut a hole in the side of the cabinet near the top so we could feed the printer cable and other power cords in and out of the cabinet. The solution while not the most elegant has worked for us. Any suggestions are welcome and if you have a better, one let us know!
