My previous neighbor had a lovely wooden Christmas tree she would display in her front window every holiday season. I remember admiring it and thinking that a wooden tree is terrific for those years when you travel elsewhere and can't water a real tree. I forgot about that tree until I saw this Danish wooden tree on Shelterrific.
It's definitely a big departure from a full douglas fir, but I have to say the look is growing on me. The sparseness makes it appealing. What about you - do you like the idea of a wooden tree?
