The Halloween decor is coming down and I'm starting to plan for Christmas. Last holiday season a neighbor of ours had a beautiful wooden Christmas tree she placed near her front window. It was sparse but beautiful in its simplicity. At the time I thought it would be a great idea to buy something like that to put up on the years that we'd be traveling for the holidays and wouldn't be able to water a real tree. The new year came and I promptly forgot about it until I saw the Danish Filigrantrae pop up on Shelterrific. A wooden holiday tree is a style statement for sure. For those of us used to a full pine tree a sparse wooden tree might look a bit anemic, but it's really starting to grow on me. What about you?
