If you want to skip the sugary candies this Valentine's Day, but want to give a token of friendship just as sweet, we may have a solution for you. Helen of Curly Birds wrote in to tell us about her wooden doll fairies, the perfect gift for your Valentine.

You'll need wooden dolls (try here), pens, paint, glue, and all the decorating supplies you can find in the house. If you're feeling ambitious, you can make personalized fairies for classmates.
