For sure, Apple has great design. But I think this is the most beautiful iPhone I've ever seen. We love the clean, minimalist lines in this "puzzle" version of an iPhone. It would be a great toy for a kid who is constantly wanting Mommy's phone, even if it doesn't have touch screen capability.
The worst part about this phone? It's not for sale. Boo! It was designed by Kyle Bean in collaboration with designer and artist Thomas Forsyth for Computer Arts magazine.
So, who's going to create a DIY for us?

Too cool. I am bummed that it's not for sale--I was planning to order one as soon as I saw the picture!
I love it, but...
I have designed and sewn a fake fabric iPhone for my son. Believe me, I made it well, but the three game apps I have in my real phone are really missing. Son keep trying to exchange his phone for mine. I have had trouble calling people with a fabric iPhone...
I think this is one of those toys that parents like more than kids. It's a beautiful puzzle, and if you present it to kids as a puzzle, fine. But no kid is going to be satisfied with a wooden "iphone" when the real thing is so enticing.
