Hardwood Flooring Made From Shipping Pallets

Jetson Green

We've seen our fair share of upcycled shipping pallets, but when I came across these floors, my jaw dropped.

Designed and manufactured by Arctic Plank, these wooden floors were made from shipping pallets for a hostel in Iceland (where the company is based). Each piece of wood was handpicked, and then handcrafted into beautiful herringbone and parquet patterns.

According to twitter, their next project is with a local, organic supermarket. Can't wait to see pictures.
