We've seen our fair share of upcycled shipping pallets, but when I came across these floors, my jaw dropped.
Designed and manufactured by Arctic Plank, these wooden floors were made from shipping pallets for a hostel in Iceland (where the company is based). Each piece of wood was handpicked, and then handcrafted into beautiful herringbone and parquet patterns.
According to twitter, their next project is with a local, organic supermarket. Can't wait to see pictures.

Looks like a lot of toe-catchers there. Did they not plane the wood to the same thickness? Also, i would have cut them to the same width but otherwise, not bad.
I want these in my house!
