Bedside book pile getting dangerously tipsy? These bibliocozy bins are a fall-worthy wrangle for Edgar Sawtelle, Philip Roth, Mr. Sedaris and a few others that shall remain anonymous. Here in black, after the jump in three other colors.
Made by etcetera media, the Book Box is made from Danish wool and water-resistant wool felt. It would work equal duty as a desk or mail control center, too.
Made to order, it ships within 1-2 weeks for $120.

120! geez, that's begging to be DIY'd.
I agree with amt230! A lot of money for those boxes.. and in fact, the coloring is the nicest detail, so you could just get a wooden box, and paint it in the colors you like.
Another option would be to knit a box, or sew it from nice fabric, insert some cardboard to make it sturdier and voila!
Beautiful.
It is pricey, but knitting is no substitute for the texture of wool and felt.
what about the industrial felt that gets talked about so often on AT? cheap and easy to DIY...
No thanks. I rather enjoy living dangerously amongst my jenga-like stacks of books.
I'm with Seaside -- never knowing how or when my book stacks will crash keeps the dogs in line and makes life interesting. If I felt a need for a felt book box, I'd make one myself for a lot less than $120.
