This handmade rug was made completely from wool scraps over at the Martha Stewart Craft's Department. Half inch pieces were cut and then rolled together to make this intricate and most stunning rug. Not sure you can tackle a full rug? Start small with a coaster!

Though the craft department for Martha Stewart probably has a bit more wool scraps on hand than the average homeowner, it isn't horribly expensive to pick up thinner, less pricey wools from your local fabric store.

This is one of those trust your gut type projects. The swirls and turns can be where ever you want or remove them entirely from the design. Most of all, make sure to send us pictures if you give this idea a try!
