Workbay Task Chair by the Bouroullec Brothers

Aaron over at ATNY posted this office task chair which reminds us of a hooded sweatshirt. We want one ourselves now, considering the amount of ambient noise that enters our small office this could block out, but we have a good idea this might not be in our IKEA budget.

We've been obsessed with good quality task chairs lately — this is due to sitting on $40 PATRIK chairs from IKEA all day. Our latest infatuation? The Workbay chair. A follow up to their Worknest Chair for Vitra, Ronan and Ewen Bouroullec just introduced the Workbay Task Chair — a chair with a hoodie...

From Vitra: "Workbay protects its users visually and acoustically thanks to the shape of its high backrest. It opens the possibility for users to distance themselves, even in busy environments, so as to be able to concentrate better with fewer disruptions."

The workingman's version of Tom Dixon's Wingback Chair? Or is it part of the trend that Maxwell noticed for beds and chairs with wings?
