My GF and I found a similar old drafting table at a thrift shop, but it had been painted black. We bought it, added two steel rods to lock it in place flat, and now use it as a desk. Paid $25, and $10 for the rods and stuff. We may refinish it one day, but it looks fine now.

Every time I go to the dentist I think -Gotta get me one of these chairs
