If you work from home you know how productive having a dedicated home office space can be. It's not just about having the extra room to work in — it's about what you do with the space to keep the creativity alive.
You don't have to splash color all over the entire room to keep the creative juices flowing — you can actually be much more subtle about it. There's nothing wrong with leaving the walls and furniture white, just add some colorful accessories and artwork — all the more brightly they'll shine!
If you're a minimalist throughout the rest of your home, don't be afraid to go a little crazier in the office. Different textures and colors will continuously invigorate your brain and keep you pumped throughout the day.

Ercol Bar Stool
Ooo, tough one. I do like a lot of white ie: light in my work space plus a window is a must. But I dunno about the riot of color that's suggested and all that stuff...would make me restless and keep me distracted. It's just me but I'd need to have 90% of that stuff behind doors.
Pretty rooms, but I"m not sure how much work I could get done being surrounded by all that.
That first room is heavenly (to me). I'd move tomorrow, if I could move to a house with a room like that!
I agree with suzy8track. I like all of the rooms - but there's just too much going on visually to allow me to concentrate. Of all the rooms, #2 seems to be the one where you could be the most focused.
Keep in mind that not every home office needs to be geared toward creativity. Some people (like me) need to be focused on what I'm doing and not have my attention pulled a lot of different directions. What may read as creativity to some reads as frenetic to others.
The only thing that creepy clown picture makes me want to work on is running away.
For me it's all about everything in its right place. I can't focus with clutter around. I even did away with my bulletin boards!
That chalkboard in #2 is heavenly!!! I need to know where you found it!
