I know what you're thinking — turquoise chandeliers, are you crazy? And no, I'm not crazy, I'm just a fan of both a) the color turquoise and b) chandeliers. Of course chandeliers can be a little extreme but if painted in a modern color they can also be pretty fantastic.
You can go really big like the Turquoise Empire Chandelier from Marjorie Souras and make a bold statement. I'm 100% in love with this chandelier and want to find a place for it in my own home!
To be a little more subtle with the turquoise, try a chandelier that mixes the bright color with a more subdued one. Coral and turquoise work really well together. All in all, I enjoy the pairing of a "wow" light fixture and a "wow" color.

I love the turquoise against the black and white stripes! I love it so much that I might have to do the same in my hallway!
the vitrine in the first photo is from my antique store in Atlanta...www.foxgloveantiques.com. it was in the Atlanta Showhouse and the Desginer is Meg Adams.
I love every single one of these. #3 being my favorite!
newfound love... thank you.
Ahh, I love turquoise and chandeliers also! And I would be 100% on board with #1. It's probably too big for my house, but I would find a way to squeeze it in...
I wonder how much the 1st one costs? It is lovely:)
Oh. #2 is my favorite. :) Beautiful!
I love turquoise, and I love SOME chandeliers, but none of these, I guess. Chandeliers (to me) are charming because they are airy and sparkly and bright. These all seem very heavy. I've seen some where the arms of the light were turquoise colored glass but the drops were clear and faceted. Those worked better for me. But that's me...
that first one is stunning! it does look a little heavy, but it's more like an opulent necklace. what a beautiful piece of jewelry for your home.
wow, these are amazing! Thanks. I looooooove #4. I would really like to see a photo of it lit at night.
also, when you click the link for the first chandelier, you'll see there are lots of other colour options that might suit your fancy.
gorgeous.. it's my favorite color.
I've had a turquoise chandelier in my bedroom for at least 7 years now. It was simple. Find a cheap, decent looking chandelier at Home Depot, grab 2 or 3 cans of turquoise spray paint, and voila! a turquoise chandelier.
My inspiration came from a bright pink, flocked chandelier I remember seeing on the cover of Domino. Turquoise just fit better with my decor.
Love it but, given that the prices are beyond my budget, I settled for a vintage white tole chandelier that has a beautiful shape (from one of the tastemaker tag sales on One Kings Lane).
