Ever since I first saw Carolyn Quartermaine’s textiles in a magazine years ago, I've been obsessed with script as design. Anthropologie has the latest incarnation of such with their Love Letters Bedding as well as their Adorations curtains.
I've sourced out a few other home décor products as well. The script and words vary from company to company but the charm of the written word remains.
1. Love Letters Bedding from Anthropologie $58- $248
2. Adorations Curtain from Anthropologie $138.00-$198.00
3. Le Poeme Indoor/Outdoor Rug from Ballard Designs $38- $428
4. Flowing Script Chair from Viva Terra $349
5. Manuscrit Rug from Design Within Reach $3400

Bedding is beautiful. But more than that, i love the artwork in the first picture! If only I could find something like it for less than $50. Alas.
Btw, I bet there are some DIY blogs on making script textiles...
that totally reminds me of the movie "Quills" :)
wisteria and home decorators have this too.
I LOVE the duvet cover. Anthropologie always tends to carry unique bedding.
Text/script can be wonderfully decorative, I agree! I was recently in South Korea, and I was really struck by their writing. Most of it, especially that in bold, had a really modern edge to it - very MCM.
As the revival is about to hit Broadway, I recall the beautiful scenic design of the original production of LA BETE some years back (a period comedy about language). The entire set, including walls and chairs, was covered in cursive script. If I remember it was all black on white. Lovely.
