We love the simplicity of this side table from Urban Outfitters- clean lines combined with utility make it a winner in our book. We tend to pile magazines on top of our tables or underneath them on the floor; this table would eliminate both of those bad habits and might force us to edit our magazine collection more often because of the built-in space constraints.
The table will be available only at UrbanOutfitters.com, and can be pre-ordered now for delivery after 07.10.2008. At $130 each (including shipping), we might just consider getting two to flank our sofa.

Pretty clever for a UO piece; I like it.
$115... not bad
Nice wood - but the exposed assembly hardware on the sides explains why it's so cheap.
The same table is available at Umbra for even less - http://www.umbra.com/ustore/product/320321/c390/mimosa_side_table_with_storage.html
Maybe it's just the photo, but the Umbra one looks better constructed.
I like those X tables:

I like the shelf in the Overstock one, better than the wings that stick out in the Urban Outfitters one.
It's a great-looking table, but for the price, I'd rather try to find one that's also eco-friendly.
great find twenty tweny-one!
the umbra one is pretty much the same (if not better!) and according to its description it is made from sustainable acacia wood.
I went into UO today to look at their home section and was appauled by the quailty in general of the furniture. You can thrift better than paying for mass production crap, nothing green about them. I looked at some of the table wares and would be afraid of lead. Yuck.
