Crafted design is how XYdecor owners Tim and Mukda Clark refer to the beautiful home furnishings presented in their Georgetown, Wahington D.C. boutique. The shop's philosophy is "to present beautifully designed and extraordinarlily crafted products. Each item exhibits modern design while using traditional methods and materials".
Tim is an architectural designer and Mukda has a background in jewelry and fashion design. Studying their line of products, you are at once aware of their backgrounds and their intent to offer great modern design without sacrificing the hand-crafted quality of more traditional wares. I especially love the Pomelo & Orange Vase: a natural woven material in a pure geometric form. Lucky for those of us outside of D.C., the shop has recently gone global, offering their products online.

Great products! My only disappointment is that they don't have pricing on their website. :-(
This store is truly one-of-a-kind amazing! Thank god for shops like these in DC. I bought a small table and a hand woven Thai rug from there a while back and they still look great. Pricing is on the higher end but for the unique and durability factor- well worth it!
