A while back, we discussed the finer points of Letterpress Alphabet Posters and featured some work by talented independent designers in the field. One of the pieces we chose was done by Yee-Haw, a company who now has their work showing all over Chelsea Market at 75 9th Avenue in Manhattan.
If you work in the neighborhood, you can stop over at the market for lunch and check out the prints sometime before January 2nd, 2010. Yee-Haw have chosen "over 100 letterpress pieces all hand-printed from our wood cuts and antique type in our Tennessee studio. We made over 50 sewn paper "quilt squares" specifically for this show and brought along some old favorites." Everything you see there is available by visiting the Yee-Haw Industries website, so you can start your holiday shopping early.

does anyone know how that framing is done? is the print sandwiched b/w 2 sheets of acrylic? then screwed into the wall? it looks great w/ the distressed brick!
Nice to see the talented and always helpful people at Yee-Haw getting some more attention. Oh, how I miss popping into that great little letterpress shop during my weekly errands!
another 'YEE HAW!' for yee-haw industries! they've been doing the ponderosa stomp posters for the past 8 years, and the couple of posters i have hanging in my house aren't "art-like," they ARE art!
