We have loved yellow and white stripes ever since we saw the nursery ceiling in the home of J. Crew creative director Jenna Lyons. The pattern and color remind us at once of circus tents and classic cafe canopies: fun plus style all rolled into one.
The pairing seems to work best in wide stripes, and we particularly love it when it slopes up from wall to ceiling (as in the first photo above). What do you think? Too much? Or just right?

I'm liking it.
Love it! I just made a shower curtain in wide white and yellow stripes for our guest bath. It's so much more cheerful now.
Cute!! I love it. I'm not usually a fan of yellow anything but this works. Great job
I love yellow! I'm planning on incorporating it in my kitchen renovation. I posted a version of that 4th photo as inspiration on my own blog, just 4days ago! I can't believe all the yellow love here! Look out kitchen wall I think you've got stripes in your future!
