Oh, play kitchens, we'll never tire of you, not even when our toddlers become tweens and say, "Mom, can we pleeease move this out of my room now?"

We love them all, but this one especially rocks with its spigot knobs and radiator grill cover oven door. Chad Kelly of BaldManModPad made this cool kitchen for his daughter out of leftover Ikea components and plumbing parts. Is he really bald? We don't know. But we do know that he has a great blog with photos of the cool stuff he makes (like this pendant light and this toy box) and an Etsy shop where you might be lucky enough to score some of his designs, so check them out!

Shaw's Original Fir...
Superb! Chad is one craft dad. Bravo. My husband made our own version at http://www.lifeonplanetbaby.com/2010/12/tutorial-how-to-make-childrens-play.html which our children love using.
Very cool! We certainly wouldn't have space for this beauty, but what a lucky kiddo.
That's adorable! I love the play kitchens on here, so many creative parents!
i love the faucet knobs!!!!
My 12 year old sneaks into the baby's room and plays with the play kitchen. I don't think they ever outgrow it totally :D
The details are fantastic. Nice job.
