We're nerds. Things like pens and pencils, and typography, make us happy. We love the idea of a bunch of these Yesterday's News Colored Pencils -- manufactured using recycled Chinese newspapers -- in a clear jar on a desk.

Black-and-white censored journalism and ads, combined with bright colors -- what more could you want?
Twelve for $9 at Fred Flare.

LOL...looks smart! It is great idea to recycle the old newspapers. Not only meets our needs, but also protect the environment. Maybe we could also make use of old apparels to innovate some toys or something else. I love these News Colored Pencils. And it's not expensive. I will cheak them out.
They are definitely too cute! If I didn't have enough colored pencils as is, I'd so buy it! I especially love the eco-friendliness of it all.
I want these. Isn't it funny how colored pencils, new tubes of paint or pastels get us all excited? I bought some new tools last week and I'm not sure what I love more, them sitting pretty on my drafting table or the fact that they help me make stuff. Hmmn.
I wish I drew more than stick figures :-(
Love it!
