We have more and more gadgets, it sometimes gets overwhelming to keep track of all of them and all of what they do. I'm pretty sure that most of us could easily cut down on some gizmos, therefore making our lives a little less hassled. Wouldn't it be great to just have a few things that would almost everything that you need? That's why Tommy Chen came up with his Yoga Music System, to take care of all of your musical needs.
The Yoga Music System integrates an iPod dock, mobile phone dock, CD player, and amplifier all in one machine. He says that his design is inspired by raindrops falling to the ground, but we think that he might have been thinking of nested Russian dolls. The simple and functional design makes taking care of your music a pretty straightforward thing. We think that this is a great concept.
One thing is sure, something like this would most definitely cut down on the clutter that most people have on their desks or workstations. Personally, I don't know why he thought about using a CD player. I can't remember the last time I played a CD, but hey, at least it's there and you can probably use it to wake you up in the mornings. A USB port to stream tunes would probably be necessary as well. [via Yanko Design]
