I'm honestly surprised it took this long. I can remember many college days (and nights) spent parked in front of a screen trying to complete a Japanese RPG or action title and pizza was more often than not our go-to dinner to fuel our epic gaming sessions. Kids these days have it so easy...
It was a partnership bound to happen: Polygon reports Microsoft and Pizza Hut are bringing pizza delivery to the Xbox 360 console. The entire menu will be accessible via an upcoming app...and get this...you'll be able to use the Kinect motion and voice controls for easier navigation while placing your order (although it doesn't seem like there will be the option to virtually build your desired pizza yet).
Although my days of ordering from pizza chains have passed (I have no excuse, there are several great local joints within delivery or driving distance), the app ordering and delivery system is a natural progression from PDF menus on websites to actual interactive customer service between restaurants and customers looking for delivery options. Expect to see more restaurant chains joining Pizza Hut on the console and mobile front as food becomes more of an interactive experience.
