If you follow the decorating adventures of Young House Love's Sherry and John you know that they always come up with clever and inexpensive solutions to decorating dilemmas. So it's not a big surprise that they were able to create a fabulous nursery (for their soon-to-arrive nephew) on a mini budget of about $350.

John and Sherry have been showing readers of their blog, Young House Love, glimpses of the nursery for a few months and now it's complete. One of the main tools in their arsenal was paint - for a striped wall treatment, to give new life to old furniture and accents and to create artwork. In addition to bringing their artistic eye to the space they also had some practical ideas like using a rug pad to keep a slippery changing pad in place.

Head on over to Young House Love for plenty of photos, a budget breakdown and plenty of details on how they created this terrific budget nursery.
