Even Pinterest devotees (like myself) have bemoaned the site's limitations when it comes to organizing boards and pins. Nothing is more frustrating than not being able to reorder images or create subfolders. Things got a little bit easier recently, with a new feature that makes moving multiple pins around SO much easier. Check it out:
Now you can move images in batches! Just go to one of your boards, click on "Move Pins," select the pins you'd like to move, and then choose the new board where you'd like to move them. Which means no more re-pinning image by image... You can also make multiple duplicate pins to add to more than one board at a time.
Yes, there are still some big limitations. To list a few:
- It's limited to 50 pins. So, no choosing "select all" and doing them all in one fell swoop.
- You still can't transfer public pins to private boards — boo.
- It's only available on the computer desktop vs. the app.
Still, it's a useful feature that will save time. Does this make anyone else happy?
