If you're house hunting (or just a dreaming about it), you've probably spent your fair share of time drooling over gorgeous photos of homes you could never afford. This is not that type of post. My face is sore from laughing at this new-to-me Tumblr featuring the best terrible real estate photos I've ever seen (and hilarious captions to boot). These agents probably had the best of intentions but just really, really missed the mark. Bookmark this one for your next bad day. Here's a tiny taste.

There are the random people.

"We can remove any furniture you don't want, and we'll be back to collect Grandma in the spring."

"He got the angles almost perfect, but despite his efforts Barry remained visible to the trained eye."

"Not yet Bernard. Feeding time isn't until 6:30."

Toilets where they shouldn't be.

"That wonderful feeling when you enter a bathroom and literally don't know where to start."
(Image credit: Terrible Real Estate Photos)
"There are times when open-plan living is neither practical nor appropriate."
(Image credit: Terrible Real Estate Photos)
"You'd never know it, but this wasn't always the bathroom."

And plenty of just plain weird choices.

"Evidently this one's been on the market for some time."

"That way you can still work on the garden even if it's raining."

There are so many more amazingly bad attempts to move some property. You'd better block out a chunk of time for this one, you'll be here awhile.

See them all at Terrible Real Estate Photos. And, if you can't get enough, check out the book Terrible Estate Agent Photos: A Book of the Most Baffling Property Photographs Ever Taken which has tons of pictures not on Tumblr.

(Thanks for bringing this into my world, Brick Underground.)
