We've seen zebra prints on fabrics and wallpapers. But what about on stairs? Here's what Camila of the blog High-Heeled Foot in the Door did to achieve zebra-striped-stairs in her home:
With Wall Pops decals, Camila turned her home's previously ho-hom stair risers into animal print eye-poppers. By trimming the decals down to size with an exacto knife, Camila was able to apply the decals to cleaned risers by smoothing them on with a plastic scraper. If she wants to change the look down the road, she can simply peel the decals off and start from a clean slate.

I dig it. I have an ugly carpet runner on my stairs, and don't think I have the funds to replace it with a cooler one. Something like this might do the trick instead. Where does one find animal-print wall decals? Giraffe would look cool... especially giraffe in non-giraffe colors.
idk.. it already looks dated to me.
Although zebra-print isn't really my thing, I love the concept. In the right home, it's a really neat idea.
Dude I love this idea. Does anyone know other sources for this type of material? Wall Pops doesn't have a whole lot of selection...
I love zebra print, and I love the idea of using decals as a fast fix for blah stairs...not sure how I feel about them together. As with most design ideas, it would just depend on the rest of the house.
I love the idea -- definitely creative. Though I love zebra print, I'm not sure how I feel about it in this instance, though I imagine it will spark conversation at house gatherings.
