While we can appreciate the look of a zebra print rug in the right room, we've never found ourselves daydreaming about one in our own home. Perhaps it is the whole connotation of tredding over the skin of something dead, but... sadly for our souls, that's probably not the case (we do love this leather belt rug, after all). However, we've taken interest in a few spins on zebra we've seen around lately.
Like this subtle white-on-white zebra print curtain panel from West Elm. We're a sucker for a white curtain (our favorite for diffusing light), but plain fabric can be kind of blah. This pattern adds interest while maintaining the diaphanous quality we love.
There's something about this pillow, too. The colors are much more similar to the average zebra print, even staying in the same safari-theme hues, we'd say. But we think it's more versatile and doesn't demand a room be created around it. And we're all for animal crewel-ty, as opposed to cruelty.
