ZigZag Guides -- City Travel Guides for Kids

Alana Zawojski

Recognizing a dearth in engaging travel guides for school-age children, ZigZag City Guides was developed as an educational resource that helps kids connect with the people and places they encounter on their travels. Each guide has 3 components including a deck of 20 city cards, a map and folder to hold a day's worth of cards, which, brilliantly, is all bundled together in a good looking, hands-free package.

So where do you get these guides? Well, there's good news and bad news. The bad news is we can't buy these. Yet. The good news is Alana Zawojski's project got 197 backers on kickstarter, pledging over $7500, which means this project is off to the presses. Rome is first. To keep track of how the project is coming along, try following or messaging Alana on kickstarter.
