Back in the day in college, we used to spend countless hours with frisket, a X-acto blade and steely focus while stenciling out shapes for airbrushing projects. Znak modular wallpaper reminds us a lot of those days, but sort of in reverse and with a whole lot less effort. ZNAK “Tears off” wallpaper is applied only after you've painted underneath, then the colour is revealed by peeling away perforated pieces in a design of your choosing.
11 different wallpaper colours are available, but ZNAK “Tears off” modular wallpaper currently seems to be a Europe-only product (ZNAK is located in the hidden design hotspot of Latvia). Interested parties can contact them directly via their email.

That child is clearly the next Cy Twombly.
This is exactly what I want, why is all the good stuff hard to get?
Interesting idea, though I'm not wild about the particular pattern. (Are there others? Found their website too maddening to investigate for more than 40 seconds-)
I'd also think twice before applying anything like this to walls-- who knows how difficult it'd be to remove after a couple of years...
