Name: Zoey (due 11/13/10)
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Color Inspiration: Initial inspiration came from the fabrics that I chose to have throughout her room. I wanted something unique and fun without being over the top girly. With this in mind I decided to stick with lime greens, corals, and a little blue here and there. I chose a light, calming shade of gray for the walls. I knew doing this would make everything else of color really pop! Plus it will be fairly easy to switch out accessories without painting down the road if we change our minds.
Tip for Using Color: Color is something that can be so easy and so much fun to play with. I personally change my mind constantly so an approach that allows me to switch things out without breaking the bank works best. I do this by keeping larger, more expensive items pretty neutral and pulling color through accessories such as lamps, pillows, and artwork.
Colors Used: Wall color - Ben Moore's Conventry Gray HC-169. Other colors - Lime greens, Corals, Grays, & Blues.
Thanks for your colorful entry Jessica and good luck!
