A flexible chandelier?
Floyd Paxton's Zoom Light is on the expensive side for reversible décor, but reversible décor it is nonetheless - because it can be (almost) any size you need.
The shade is a ring fashioned from a steel and translucent foil lattice. It accordians from an 8" diameter out to 52", expanding to suit your space. That built-in flex means it can travel with you as you move, accomodating any location you chose for it - a significant plus for a fixture that will cost you $800+.
Zoom's flex is not just about size: when the ring is contracted the light from the fixture's 20 halogen bulbs focuses upwards and downwards; when the ring is open it emanates outwards, filling the room.
Zoom starts at $844 at Ambiente Direct and is $1,443.20 at Lightology.
